The swipe that changed everythingOur Story

In August 2022, fate (or perhaps Tinder's algorithm) stepped in when Daniel swiped right on Colleen, and she swiped right back! Looking for the perfect conversation starter, Colleen noticed a photo of Daniel's two cats and confidently replied, “I see your two cats, and I raise you three.” It was the perfect icebreaker... and from that moment on, the conversation never stopped.

What began as messages on a dating app quickly turned into something neither of us could have imagined. Over the past four years, we've built a life together filled with laughter, unwavering support, and countless memories. We've navigated many challenges, celebrated life's biggest milestones, created a home together, traveled around the world, and learned that no matter what life throws our way, we're always stronger as a team. While we’ve been discovering new places and what life has to offer, we've realized that our favorite part of every journey has never been just the destination: It's simply being together through it all.

We feel incredibly lucky to begin this chapter surrounded by the family and friends who have shaped our lives and cheered us on from the very beginning. Thank you for witnessing the start of our forever. We can't wait to continue building a life filled with love, laughter, adventures, and a million ordinary moments that will become our greatest memories.

Maddy

Maddy is Colleen's older (and only!) sister, lifelong best friend, and one of the people she admires most. Having Colleen serve as Maid of Honour at Maddy's wedding made it all the more meaningful to now have Maddy standing beside her on this special day. Intelligent, brave, and endlessly ambitious, Maddy is someone you can always turn to for advice, encouragement, or a laugh when you need it most. Her unwavering love and support have shaped Colleen's life in countless ways, and there was never any question that she'd be by her side as Matron of Honour.

Marc

Marc is Daniel's older (and only!) brother and someone he has looked up to his entire life. After Daniel had the honour of standing as Marc's Best Man, it's incredibly special to now share that role in return. Marc has an infectious sense of humour and is the kind of person who will happily lend a hand whenever someone needs it. Daniel is proud to call him not only his brother, but one of his closest friends.

Dr. Goblin

Dr. Goblin has been one of our closest friends for years. She and Daniel have known each other since high school, and from the moment Colleen met her nearly four years ago, the two instantly clicked. Whether travelling together, rolling dice during Dungeons & Dragons, chatting about books, or simply catching up over a video call, Dr. Goblin brings joy, positivity, and unwavering support wherever she goes. She has been one of our biggest cheerleaders from the very beginning. We couldn't imagine celebrating this day without her.

Groomsman

Luke

Luke and Daniel have been best friends since kindergarten—a friendship that has stood the test of time, distance, and every stage of life. Meeting Luke four years ago, Colleen and Luke’s humour instantly jived. Even though Luke and Dr. Goblin live a six-hour drive away from the soon-to-be-newlyweds, Luke always makes the effort to stay connected, and that means the world to Daniel and Colleen. Fiercely loyal, endlessly funny, and incredibly creative (especially as a beloved Dungeons & Dragons Dungeon Master and the creator of this very wedding website), Luke has a heart as big as his imagination. We are so grateful for his friendship and honoured to have him standing beside us.

Levi & Boston

Levi and Boston were the first nephews to join Daniel's family, and they have brought endless energy, laughter, and fun ever since. Levi is adventurous, fearless, and always ready for his next big adventure, while Boston is a little more reserved, but just as playful, curious, and full of personality. Daniel and Colleen absolutely love spending time with these two boys and can't wait to watch them make their way down the aisle. Keeping everything on track will be Levi and Boston’s amazing mom, Vanessa, whose warmth, organization, and eye for all things stylish keep the whole family connected. We're so grateful to have all three of them sharing this special day with us.

Wren

Wren is Colleen and Daniel’s sweet niece and the very first little one to join Colleen’s family. She has brought so much joy, laughter, and love into our lives, and every visit with her is one Colleen and Daniel treasure. We feel so lucky to watch her grow and are beyond excited to have her as our Flower Girl. Helping her down the aisle will be her wonderful dad, Aidan, who has been part of Colleen's life since she was 13 years old. More than a brother-in-law, Aidan has always been like a big brother—steady, dependable, and always quick with the perfect dry joke. Having both of them as part of our wedding day means so much to us.
